To thee and thy company I bid a hearty welcome!

The Tempest, V.i

Grace Elizabeth graduated summa cum laude from Loyola University Chicago, pursuing her B.A. in Theatre with minors in Art History and Shakespeare Studies. Her academic work focused on ancient Greek theatre and Shakespeare and incorporated her interdisciplinary background as an art history student. Her research has also focused on women throughout theatrical histories, propelled by her experience as a founding member of the Women in Theatre ensemble at LUC.

Grace Elizabeth's work spans commedia dell'arte, fight choreography, and musical theatre, and her ability to make the most complicated productions appear streamlined and effortless is a skill derived from her experience with new & devised works and site-specific, outdoor, & immersive theatre settings. She has brought this range to companies including Babes with Blades Theatre Co., using stage combat to tell women's stories on stage; Laughing Stock Theatre, Chicago's premier commedia dell'arte company; Griffin Theatre Company, whose two most recent productions were Jeff-recommended and nominated for two Jeff awards in the 23-24 and 24-25 seasons; and City Lit Theater, similarly acclaimed and receiving over a dozen rave reviews praising its most recent musical literary adaptation.

Her work as a stage manager has been informed by experience as a director, actor, technician, and designer. Grace Elizabeth believes that theatre is the most powerful storytelling medium, and that every person has a story to tell.
