Grace Mealey Headshot 2020.jpg

To thee and thy company I bid a hearty welcome!
The Tempest, V.i

Grace Elizabeth is a current student in the class of 2025 at Loyola University Chicago, pursuing her B.A. in Theatre with minors in Art History and Shakespeare Studies. Her primary production work throughout her undergraduate degree have been ancient Greek theatre and Shakespeare, as well as her interdisciplinary background as an fine arts student. Her research has also focused on women throughout theatrical histories, propelled by her experience as a founding member of the Women in Theatre ensemble at LUC. She has experience with new and devised works, contemporary and classic plays, and musical theatre. Her work as a director and stage manager is also supported by experience as an actor, technician, and designer. She particularly enjoys bringing performances to life through Viewpoints, Stanislavski, and Linklater techniques, and is always curious about other methodologies for artists. Grace Elizabeth believes that theatre is the most powerful storytelling medium, and that every person has a story to tell.
